Hello!
I am a visiting assistant professor with the Purdue Political Science department. I earned my PhD from UNLV and my MA from Iowa State. I have taught previously at UNLV and the College of Southern Nevada. In addition to international relations and comparative politics, I am passionate about teaching courses on American politics and policy. I currently serve as the Communications Director for APSA’s Civic Engagement section and look for ways to engage students in local civics events. My research interests focus on International Organizations and East Asian Politics, with additional interest in International Political Economy and Global/Regional Cooperation & Conflict.
I was born and raised in Montana, am a Marine veteran, and I love reading, American football (Raiders), Star Wars, travel, and fly fishing.
